House of Coffee Sets the Stage for Contemporary Fashion During Milano Fashion Week®
South Korean designer Ju Han Kim brought DAILY MIRROR’s latest collection to the runway during Milano Fashion Week®, uniting contemporary fashion, creativity and coffee culture, alongside an exclusive preview of Starbucks™ Aerocano™.
During Milano Fashion Week®, Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Milano welcomed South Korean contemporary womenswear label DAILY MIRROR for a fashion show showcasing its latest collection as part of the official Milano Fashion Week® Women’s Spring/Summer 2027 calendar.
Led by designer Ju Han Kim, DAILY MIRROR is guided by the philosophy “Modern, Genderless and Layered.” Known for restrained minimalism, precise tailoring and carefully considered details, the brand moves between masculinity and femininity, structure and softness, intellect and emotion to offer a refined and distinctly modern perspective on contemporary womenswear.
Exploring the changing rhythms of contemporary life
For the collection, Ju Han Kim drew inspiration from the changing rhythms of contemporary life, exploring how the boundaries between urban living and the natural world, everyday routines and life in motion continue to blur.
Functional and adaptable elements drawn from outdoor wear introduced a new sense of ease, while the collection remained firmly rooted in DAILY MIRROR’s signature tailoring. On the runway, tailoring-led looks highlighted the brand’s precise construction, refined silhouettes and signature details.
Through minimal forms, nuanced layering and a balance of structure and flexibility, the collection expanded DAILY MIRROR’s design language for the varied ways we live and move today.
“Milano has long been at the forefront of global fashion and represents a stage on which I have always wanted to challenge myself,” said Ju Han Kim, designer of DAILY MIRROR. “Presenting the collection at Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Milano is a meaningful opportunity to share the brand’s philosophy and evolving design language with an international audience. This collection is not simply about combining tailoring and outdoor wear. It reflects my ongoing consideration of how clothing can accompany people through changing environments, roles and moments in their lives, while allowing them to remain true to their own identity.”
Fashion and creativity at the Milan Roastery
The fashion show formed part of the ongoing partnership between Starbucks® and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI), now in its fourth year, supporting emerging creative talent and creating new opportunities for designers to share their work with wider audiences.
Through House of Coffee, Starbucks’s cultural platform exploring the intersection of coffee, creativity, design, fashion and community, Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Milano continues to bring together different creative disciplines in the heart of the city. Throughout the initiative, the Roastery has hosted fashion shows, cultural conversations and creative events, reinforcing its role as a space where craftsmanship, culture and community come together.
An exclusive preview of Starbucks™ Aerocano™
The fashion show also gave guests the opportunity to experience another innovation at the Milan Roastery: an exclusive preview of Starbucks™ Aerocano™ ahead of its wider launch across Europe and Middle East on 1 October 2026.
Starbucks™ Aerocano™ brings a new dimension to the Americano through an air-whipped technique that creates a smooth, velvety texture.
Guests at Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Milano were among the first in the region to experience Starbucks™ Aerocano™, bringing together fashion and coffee innovation during one of Milan’s most celebrated moments of creativity.
