An immersive journey where craft, creativity, and community come together at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Milano
We are excited to present The House of Coffee, a new cultural platform debuting at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Milano. Already featured in Vogue Italia and WWD, this initiative is curated by Sarah Andelman, founder of Just An Idea and renowned for her visionary work at Colette, it transforms the Roastery into a dynamic space where coffee meets creativity, lifestyle, and community. Inspired by the way a fashion house operates, The House of Coffee reimagines Starbucks as a brand that creates pieces to be worn, collected, and displayed—not just consumed.
Through exclusive collaborations with Lucas Zanotto and iconic partners like K-Way, Nordica, and Poldo Dog Couture, artistic installations, and a curated calendar of events, The House of Coffee celebrates Starbucks’ deep connection with Milan and offers an immersive experience that blends craft, design, and cultural expression. More than a campaign, it is an evolving platform of collaborations and experiences that honor coffee as a ritual and a connector of communities.
A Tribute to Milan
Milan has always inspired Starbucks, shaping the vision of what an elevated coffeehouse experience could be. The House of Coffee celebrates that connection by introducing collaborations that reflect craft, creativity, and personal expression—inside Starbucks’ most immersive home in Europe.
Launching During Milan Men’s Fashion Week
The first chapter of The House of Coffee debuts in January 2026 with three exclusive collaborations created by Sarah Andelman and Italian artist Lucas Zanotto, known for his playful and distinctive visual language. Together, they reimagine Starbucks’ identity through design and functionality in a limited-edition collection.
With Gene Gallagher, a British musician and model at the forefront, The House of Coffee becomes a celebration of design, culture, and coffee in Milan.

A First Look at The House of Coffee
On January 15, the Roastery hosts an exclusive press preview, welcoming leading journalists alongside institutional, art, design, and fashion guests for a first look at the Roastery’s transformation and the collaborations that define The House of Coffee.
For this special occasion, the Roastery façade features static projections by Lucas Zanotto, created exclusively for the press event. Inside, guests can experience Zanotto’s immersive installation—a striking blend of analog and digital techniques—that will remain on display throughout the entire duration of The House of Coffee project.
The Apron Project
The story continues in February, during Milan Women’s Fashion Week, The House of Coffee introduces The Apron Project—a series of customized aprons designed by Milan’s leading creative voices, including Francesca Ragazzi (Vogue Italia), Carolina Castiglioni (Plan C), Sara Battaglia, and Galib Gassanoff. Proceeds from apron sales will benefit charities selected by the designers.
